Dr. Jamison Pawley, DMD, MS.

Jamison J. Pawley, DMD, MS, Board Certified Orthodontist and Dentofacial Orthopedist, is proud to welcome patients to Brea Dental Group where genuine caring and compassion combine with education and experience to provide the best in orthodontics. His philosophy and tradition of service to the patient, along with the support of a caring, knowledgeable team working together in a truly state-of-the-art facility, creates excellence in both patient care and clinical results.

Dr. Pawley was born and raised in Southern California and proudly remains a local resident to this day. He completed his undergraduate education in pre-medical sciences at Azusa Pacific University in 1990 and was subsequently accepted under scholarship to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, a prestigious Ivy League school in New England. Having excelled through four years of dental school where he was conferred his Dental Medical Doctorate (DMD), he next completed a formal three year residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Saint Louis University Medical Center where he earned the degree Master of Science (MS) in 1997. Above and beyond his training as a specialist, Dr. Pawley has completed the rigorous additional study and examinations necessary to become certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is among a small percentage of orthodontists in the United States to earn this degree of recognized excellence in his specialty. Additionally, he is extremely proud to have served for several years as a Clinical Professor of Orthodontics at the University of Southern California and was humbled to be chosen amongst his peers to head the coveted Orthodontic Faculty Practice.

In 1998, Dr. Pawley achieved his Fellowship in the World Federation of Orthodontists. He is also a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the California Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. In his personal life, Dr. Pawley and his wife are the proud parents of two young sons whose growing number of interests and activities keep them all quite busy and entertained. As free time presents itself, Dr. Pawley can most often be found at the gym, where he enjoys both powerlifting and bodybuilding, as well as the study of nutrition and naturopathic medicine.
